About DentalSelect.
DentalSelect is an information and enquiry service operated by DentalSelect. Contact us through our website enquiry form with questions or complaints. These terms apply when you use our website.
Explore at your own pace.
Patients can read guides and search practices free of charge. Practice profile accounts are currently free. Any future paid service will have clearly stated prices and terms before you agree to it.
Information, not clinical care.
DentalSelect is not a dental practice. Our guides and conversations provide general information and help you prepare questions. We do not diagnose, prescribe or decide which treatment is suitable for you. A dental professional must assess your needs. Illustrative images do not promise an individual result. This is not an emergency service.
Practices and enquiries.
Listings may contain information supplied by practices or public sources. Check important details, availability and fees with the practice. A listing is not a clinical endorsement. Sending an enquiry does not book an appointment or guarantee a reply.
Enquiries come to DentalSelect first. With your request or agreement, we can pass relevant details to a practice. Your assessment, treatment, booking terms and treatment payments are arrangements between you and that practice. Our Privacy Policy explains how enquiry information is used.
Accounts and contributions.
Use the website lawfully, keep login details secure and submit accurate information. Practice representatives must be authorised to manage the profile and have permission for uploaded materials. You keep ownership of your content and permit us to store, format and display it to operate your profile. We may remove unlawful or misleading content and restrict accounts that misuse the service.
Links and commercial relationships.
External services have their own terms. Where we use affiliate links or sponsored placements, they should be identified. Payment for a placement is not a clinical recommendation. Purchases from retailers are governed by the retailer’s prices, delivery and returns terms.
Using our content.
You may use the guides for personal information. Commercial copying or republication requires permission unless permitted by law or an identified licence. We aim to keep the website useful and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every listing is current.
Your rights.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Please contact us first if there is a problem so we can try to resolve it. We may update these terms and will show the revision date.
Practice introductions
When you ask us to help find a practice, DentalSelect uses your contact details, postcode, treatment interests and the information you choose to share to review your request and arrange an introduction. This may include health information.
With your explicit agreement, relevant participating practices can see a limited summary of your needs and broad location. One practice may pay DentalSelect for the introduction. Only that practice receives your contact details and full enquiry through this service. It then handles that information under its own privacy notice. You do not have to book or accept treatment.
Enquiries about a named practice are handled separately and are not offered to other practices without a new agreement. You can withdraw an introduction request using your private enquiry link or by contacting us. Withdrawal stops future sharing; it cannot recall information already received.
Patient enquiry information is normally removed from the marketplace after 90 days, with unresolved payments or refund requests reviewed before removal. Necessary transaction records are retained separately. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to discuss withdrawal of consent. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
